Shrek Merchandise: Official Collectibles, Shirts and Gifts

You can buy Shrek gear from Universal Parks, BoxLunch, Hot Topic, Merchoid, Funko, Amazon and Etsy, and the best choice depends on whether you want an official licensed item, a collectible or a one of a kind gift. Official licensed items come mainly from park shops and chain retailers, while Etsy and similar marketplaces suit one of a kind gifts.

Universal Parks Shop has a dedicated Shrek merch page, and Universal is the studio releasing Shrek 5 in the US on June 30, 2027, according to Variety. Park shops are usually the best bet for souvenirs, while mall style chains such as BoxLunch and Hot Topic tend to focus on apparel and pop culture gifts. Merchoid and Funko lean toward collectibles and figures, so a collector should start there before browsing the wider marketplaces.

A practical point for gift buyers is the audience. Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007) and Shrek Forever After (2010) all carry a PG rating in the US and a U rating in the UK, so most licensed items suit families and young children. Adult fans who grew up on the films often prefer retro style apparel or display pieces. Marketplaces such as Etsy host many independent sellers, so it helps to check whether a listing is officially licensed before buying, especially for gifts where authenticity matters.

Shoppers in the UK can use the same categories, since the characters and films are identical, though availability, delivery and sizing vary by retailer and country.

Shrek products fall into five practical categories: apparel, collectible figures, theme park souvenirs, kids' items and gifts for adults. Each one suits a different buyer, and each leans on a different corner of the cast.

Shrek shirts are sold by BoxLunch, Hot Topic and the Universal Parks Shop, and dedicated Shrek shirt stores also appear in search results. The most recognizable designs usually feature Shrek himself, voiced by Mike Myers, or Donkey, voiced by Eddie Murphy. Because the films are decades old, many designs play on nostalgia, which makes apparel a safe choice for teens and adults.

Funko Pop vinyl figures are the standard entry point for collectors, and Merchoid and Funko itself are natural places to compare what is available. The cast gives collectors plenty to choose from: Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona (voiced by Cameron Diaz), Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow), Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) and the Gingerbread Man (Gingy), voiced by Conrad Vernon. Supporting characters from the later films, such as Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2 (2004) and Rumpelstiltskin in Shrek Forever After (2010), give completists extra targets. As general guidance, check that a figure is boxed and officially licensed if resale value matters to you.

Theme park souvenirs are best bought from Universal Parks, whose online shop has a Shrek section for fans who cannot visit. As general guidance, park items such as apparel and small gifts work well as a reminder of a family trip.

Shrek items suit young children because Shrek (2001), Shrek 2 (2004), Shrek the Third (2007) and Shrek Forever After (2010) are all rated PG in the US and U in the UK. That makes toys, pajamas and plush characters an easy choice for young fans. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (2022) is rated PG in the US, the UK and Australia, so it fits most families, though parents of very young children may want to check the rating details first.

Good Shrek gifts for adults include retro apparel, display figures and prints from independent Etsy sellers, with Merchoid and Hot Topic aimed at adult pop culture buyers. Shrek 5 is dated for June 30, 2027 in the US, according to Variety.
