Bond 26 Trailer: Is There an Official One Yet?
There is no official Bond 26 trailer: as of 2 November 2026 Amazon MGM Studios has not released a teaser, a trailer or even a title for the next James Bond film, so every video claiming to be one is fan made. The last official Bond trailers belong to No Time to Die (2021), directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the 25th and latest film in the EON series.

Is There a Bond 26 Trailer? What Exists and What Does Not
No official Bond 26 trailer exists, and the film has no announced title, no lead actor and no release date. Amazon MGM Studios, which holds creative control of the franchise, has released no footage of any kind.
Where Does Bond 26 Stand Right Now?
Bond 26 is in development, and the studio has confirmed only the people behind the camera and the start of casting. Denis Villeneuve was named director in June 2025, Steven Knight is writing, Amy Pascal and David Heyman are producing, and Nina Gold is the casting director. The studio confirmed on 14 May 2026 that "the search for the next James Bond is underway", and Knight said on 12 September 2026 that the first draft of the screenplay was finished. Screen Daily reported in March 2026 that Pascal indicated a UK shoot.
A trailer needs shot footage, and no cameras have rolled on this film. You can follow the full picture on the next James Bond movie page.
Who Is the Next James Bond, and Is Henry Cavill in Bond 26?
The studio has not named the next James Bond, so nobody is confirmed to replace Daniel Craig. Reports are the only evidence, and they are labeled as reports. TheWrap reported on 22 October 2026, citing insiders, that final screen tests were starting around 23 October in London. The three names reported were Jack Lowden, Callum Turner and Josh O'Connor, alongside a fourth, unnamed actor. The same report said Jacob Elordi is no longer in the running, and the studio declined to comment.
Henry Cavill has not been confirmed for Bond 26, and he is not among the actors reported for the final screen tests. The same is true of Idris Elba, Jason Statham and Margot Robbie: Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed no cast at all, and none of the three appears in the reported screen test names, so any trailer or poster that pairs one of them with Bond 26 is not backed by the studio.
Separately, Gary Oldman is quoted as saying the choice has already been made and that he hopes it is Jack Lowden. That remark is unconfirmed.
How Can You Spot a Fake Bond 26 Trailer?
A fake Bond 26 trailer is one posted on a fan channel, showing a named actor, a title or a release date that Amazon MGM Studios has not announced. Real studio trailers are posted on an official studio channel, and a real one cannot show a confirmed lead actor, because none exists. It also cannot show Villeneuve footage, because there is none. Look at the cuts as well: fake trailers recycle car chases, train fights and rooftop runs from earlier films, and the shots change grade and aspect ratio from one cut to the next.
Bond 26 has no release date, so any trailer that shows one is invented.
What Do Earlier Bond Campaigns Say About When a Trailer Will Arrive?
Past campaigns show that Bond marketing follows a title and a cast, and Bond 26 has neither. Quantum of Solace is the closest comparison. Its title was announced on 24 January 2008, taken from a 1960 Ian Fleming short story, and the film reached UK theaters about nine months later, on 31 October 2008 (reported), after a London premiere on 29 October. Its US release was first set earlier and then moved to 14 November 2008 to take in the Thanksgiving weekend. Skyfall had its UK premiere on 23 October 2012, a charity benefit in London, and opened in the UK on 26 October 2012, with the US release following on 9 November 2012 (reported). In both cases the public knew the title, the star and the director long before any footage ran.
Tomorrow Never Dies shows the other side of the calendar. It opened in the US on 19 December 1997 against Titanic. A Bond release date is chosen with rival blockbusters in mind, which is one more reason a date is not set for Bond 26 until the studio is ready to market it. In my opinion, a first Bond 26 teaser is unlikely before a lead actor is announced, because every recent campaign has been built around the face of the actor playing 007.
What Did the Last Official Trailer Have to Sell?
No Time to Die gave its trailers a lot of story to work with. The film opens with a young Madeleine Swann watching a masked man kill her mother, then being pulled from icy water by that same killer. Years later, Bond is with Madeleine in Italy, visits the grave of Vesper Lynd, and a bomb goes off as assassins attack. He decides Madeleine betrayed him and sends her away on a train. Five years on, he is retired in Jamaica when his CIA friend Felix Leiter asks for help finding a kidnapped scientist linked to a bioweapon stolen from MI6. Hans Zimmer composed the score, and the title song is by Billie Eilish.
That opening ties the film back to Casino Royale (2006), where Vesper Lynd first appears, and to Spectre, where Madeleine and Blofeld are introduced. Bond 26 has no such continuity to lean on yet, which makes its eventual trailer a different task from the one No Time to Die faced. Compare it with Casino Royale in 2006, when a new actor in the role was the story, with Eva Green's casting as Vesper Lynd reported by Screen Daily.
Where Can You Watch Official James Bond Trailers?
Official James Bond trailers are posted on the distributing studios' own YouTube channels, such as the No Time to Die trailers, and no verified link is available yet. The newest trailers are for No Time to Die, the 25th EON film, with Daniel Craig in his fifth and final outing as Bond. It had its UK premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 28 September 2021 (reported), and its US release followed on 8 October 2021. It runs 163 minutes and grossed about $759 million worldwide on a $250 million budget.
The series has 25 EON films, from Dr. No to No Time to Die, plus two unofficial, non EON films: Casino Royale (1967) and Never Say Never Again. If you want to catch up before Bond 26 arrives, the James Bond movies in order guide sets out the release and chronological order, and the James Bond movies hub lists every film.
When Will the First Bond 26 Teaser Arrive?
No one outside the studio can say when the first Bond 26 teaser will arrive, and no marketing plan has been announced. Amazon MGM Studios has set no release date, and the film has not started shooting.
