Avengers: Doomsday Trailer: Where to Watch Every Marvel Trailer

The official Avengers: Doomsday trailer lives with Marvel Studios and Disney, and the film's page at movies.disney.com/avengers-doomsday is the studio's own home for its video. That page lists a video titled "Now In Production" and confirms the film "releases exclusively in theaters December 18, 2026" (Box Office Mojo shows the same US date). Phrases such as trailer 1, trailer 2 and trailer 3 are search wording, so the studio's own titles are the ones to trust when you are hunting for the real upload.

No studio source gives a release time for any Doomsday trailer, and neither Disney's film page nor Box Office Mojo lists one. Both give December 18, 2026 as the film's release date, and no UK or AU date has been published. Some search results talk about a December 17 date tied to Infinity Vision screenings and about CinemaCon coverage, but Disney's film page mentions neither and lists only the December 18 theatrical date, so treat December 18 as the date and the rest as unconfirmed. The date has already moved once: the film was announced with a May 1, 2026 date when production began on March 26, 2025, and Variety reported the shift to December 18, 2026 on May 23, 2025. Disney's March 26, 2025 announcement confirmed Robert Downey Jr. as Victor von Doom (the character comic readers know as Doctor Doom), alongside Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Pedro Pascal, Florence Pugh and Tom Hiddleston. The same list also names Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer and Channing Tatum, names that comic and film fans will connect to the X-Men. Disney's film page also lists Chris Evans, and Alan Silvestri is credited as composer. Apart from Downey's Victor von Doom, Disney has not attached character names to these actors, so any footage that seems to name a role is a fan reading and not a studio statement.

Disney's company site has announced several Marvel trailers, which makes it a useful place to check. The Black Widow (2021) trailer arrived on April 5, 2021, about three months before the July 9 release, and the first Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer landed on October 24, 2022, ahead of a February 17, 2023 opening. Disney's site also announced a new Black Panther (2018) trailer ahead of that film's February 16, 2018 release.

A breakdown can only rest on what the studio has shown, and Disney has published no shot by shot notes for Doomsday. Theories about hidden details stay out until the studio or a trade paper confirms them.

In my opinion, the most telling choice is the cast list itself, because it reads like a map of the saga. Downey spent the first phase as Tony Stark, from Iron Man (2008) through The Avengers (2012), and Avengers: Endgame (2019) closed that arc, so seeing him return under a different name is a deliberate retcon-style swerve in how an actor can be used, not a simple comeback. Evans being listed on Disney's film page echoes the same idea: Steve Rogers ended his story in Endgame, so any reason for his return is something only the film can answer.

It is worth comparing the build up with earlier Avengers films. The Russo brothers, who direct Doomsday, also made Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, and Silvestri scored The Avengers, Infinity War and Endgame as well as Captain America: The First Avenger. Infinity War opened with Thanos taking the Power Stone and the Space Stone in its first act, a villain first approach that showed the threat before the heroes met it. Perhaps Doomsday will lean on a similar structure, though that is a guess and not a studio statement. Compared with the Black Widow (2021) and Quantumania campaigns, which gave roughly three to four months between first trailer and release, a December 18 opening makes the weeks ahead the natural window to watch Disney's site.

Every earlier film has its own page with cast, release dates and streaming. In release order, the run starts with Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor (2011), Captain America: The First Avenger and The Avengers (2012). It continues with Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. Next come Doctor Strange (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Captain Marvel (2019) and Avengers: Endgame.

The later films are Black Widow (2021), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals (2021), Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Thor: Love and Thunder, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, The Marvels, Deadpool & Wolverine, Captain America: Brave New World, Thunderbolts* and The Fantastic 4: First Steps. The four MCU Spider-Man films, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, sit in the Spider-Man franchise, starting with Spider-Man: Homecoming.
