No single service carries all 13 Halloween films, so the quickest way to watch them in order is to match each film to the country you are in. Availability comes from JustWatch data on TMDB, last checked on November 3, 2026, and streaming catalogs change often.
In the US, the original Halloween (1978), directed by John Carpenter, streams on Shudder, AMC+, Philo and fuboTV. It is also free on Fawesome and free with ads on Plex Channel and Mometu. Halloween II (1981), directed by Rick Rosenthal, and Halloween III: Season of the Witch (1982), directed by Tommy Lee Wallace, are both on Prime Video, Philo, AMC+ and AMC. Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers sit on Philo, AMC+, AMC and Shudder. Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995), Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998) and Halloween: Resurrection (2002) all stream on HBO Max.
Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009) are on Peacock, Philo, AMC+ and fuboTV, with free ad supported options on Fandango at Home Free (both films), Xumo Play (2007) and Pluto TV (2009). The 2018 to 2022 trilogy is the awkward part. Halloween (2018), directed by David Gordon Green, streams in the US only through the Peacock Premium Plus Amazon Channel, Halloween Kills is on Peacock, and Halloween Ends is on Netflix. Every film can be rented or bought in the US from Amazon Video, Apple TV, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango at Home.
Where Can You Stream Halloween in the UK and Australia?
In the UK, Shudder carries Halloween (1978), Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. BBC iPlayer lists the 1978 film as free, and Pluto TV offers it with ads. Netflix and Prime Video both have Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, while Prime Video also has Halloween II (2009). The Lionsgate+ Amazon Channel covers Halloween II (1981), Halloween III: Season of the Witch and Rob Zombie's 2007 film. The Curse of Michael Myers, H20, Resurrection and Halloween Ends are rent or buy only in the UK.
In Australia, Netflix has Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, with Stan also listing Kills. Shudder and AMC+ carry the 1978 film, Halloween 4 and Halloween 5, and the Lionsgate+ Amazon Channel has the 1981 sequel, Halloween III and the 2007 remake. Paramount+ streams H20 and Resurrection, while Halloween Ends is on BINGE and Foxtel Now. The Curse of Michael Myers and Halloween II (2009) are rent or buy only there.
Is Halloween on Hulu, Disney+ or Tubi?
No, none of the three is listed for any of the 13 films in the US, UK or AU. That is why a search for Halloween on Hulu or Disney+ mostly turns up the holiday rather than Michael Myers. Netflix is the big name that does carry the films: Halloween Ends in the US, and the 2018 film and Kills in the UK and AU. Prime Video lists Halloween II (1981) and Halloween III: Season of the Witch in the US.
Which US Service Gives You the Most Halloween Movies?
In my opinion, AMC+ is the best single subscription for a US marathon, because it streams seven of the 13 films: the 1978 original, Halloween II (1981), Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Halloween 4, Halloween 5 and both Rob Zombie films. Philo lists the same seven. That run covers the original Michael Myers saga up to 1989 plus the remakes, and what it leaves out is HBO Max territory (1995 to 2002) and the 2018 trilogy.
The split makes sense once you see how the films were made. Carpenter shot the 1978 original in about 20 days on a budget of $325,000, and it grossed $70.3 million worldwide, which is why a film so small now sits on so many catalogs. Halloween III has the opposite problem: it drops Michael Myers for Dr. Daniel Challis (Tom Atkins), the Silver Shamrock mask factory in Santa Mira and Conal Cochran (Dan O'Herlihy), so it plays better as a standalone, and its home on the same services as the others means you can sample it without committing to a thread.
The HBO Max trio is the least tidy. Halloween H20 (1998), with Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode living under the name Keri Tate, ignores films 4 to 6, and it runs only 86 minutes. Halloween: Resurrection (2002) then locks college students inside Michael's childhood home for an internet reality show. The Curse of Michael Myers (1995) belongs to the 4 to 6 branch instead, so it is a poor fit next to its two neighbors. As such, if you only pay for HBO Max, watch H20 and Resurrection together and skip the 1995 film unless you have already seen Halloween 5.
The 2018 trilogy is the hardest to stream in the US, with each film on a different service. Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends both opened on Peacock the same day as their theatrical releases (October 15, 2021 and October 14, 2022), so it is a little ironic that Ends now sits on Netflix. If you want all three in one place, renting Halloween (2018) is the cheapest fix, and it could be argued that the 2018 film is worth that price since it picks up directly from the 1978 film and treats Laurie's survivor story seriously.
Which Order Should You Stream Them In?
Release order is the simplest way to stream them, and the services above follow that order. Halloween III: Season of the Witch follows Daniel Challis and the Silver Shamrock mask factory rather than Michael Myers, and the 2018 trilogy follows Laurie Strode straight on from the 1978 film. The Halloween timelines explained guide covers how the branches fit together.
